[YRL] 🎁 New Year News from YogaResearch: A Growing Library & New Features!

Dear YogaResearch Community,

We’re kicking off 2026 with exciting updates to YogaResearch.org! Over the
last few months, we’ve been working behind the scenes to make the platform
even more useful for scholars and practitioners of yoga.

We’re excited to announce two major updates to *YogaResearch.org* , just in
time for a strong start to 2026:
📚 Our Document Library Is Live and Growing!

Our searchable academic *Document Library* is now live and already includes
over *225 titles* – with more being added every week.

It includes books, articles, theses, and historical sources relevant to
Yoga Studies, sorted by *topic, publication type, and methodology*. And
it’s fully open for browsing – no login required.
📩 Contribute to the Library

We're now accepting contributions from the community!
For now, if you’d like to add publications, just send an email to
*library at yogaresearch.org* with the title, author, and a link or file.
We’ll take care of formatting and uploading it to the site.

(⚠️ Note: If you find any broken or outdated links while browsing the
library — especially if they point to booksellers instead of publishers —
feel free to email us the correct source and we’ll update it.)
🔐 Log In to Join the Platform

You can now *register for a YogaResearch account* directly on the site!
While many features are still in development, registered users will soon be
able to:

   -

   Submit publications directly through a form
   -

   Comment on selected posts and content
   -

   Create public contributor profiles
   -

   Manage newsletter preferences

We're still in the early phase — but your registration helps us shape the
future.
